A rolling time capsule traveling the highways and bi-ways of our beautiful country sharing the artifacts of past camping adventures while still enjoying the modern conveniences of camping today! The 1955 28ft Spartan Manor was completely rebuilt to house a collection of vintage camping gear. Our MAIDEN VOYAGE! Elverta, California to Eugene, Oregon. 475 miles February 1st – 4th, 2018. Eugene Boat and Sportsman Show Traveling down our freeways with over 100 water jugs displayed on shelves presents a challenge. Do you pack it up and spend several hours setting up and tearing down the display or do you get creative and find a way to have a secure display you can leave up while traveling? We are doing the research for you! (Trial and Error!) We decided to go the middle road and adhere the water jugs into their display area with Quake HOLD Museum Putty. On our maiden voyage we didn’t lose a single jug! The lanterns were wrapped in towels and placed lovingly in vintage ice chests to make the long journey. They too survived in great condition but do require some set-up. After getting the display set, we welcomed hundreds of folks into the Mid-Century Mobile Museum to enjoy our collection. We even had one little guy who let us know that we had forgotten our pillows for our bed. He was correct, we did have to sleep one night without our pillows! KIDS. http://www.exposureshows.com/
